Perdana Menteri mengumumkan berita baik ini untuk kira-kira 200 padang golf di negara ini apabila beliau menyampaikan hadiah-hadiah Kejohanan Golf Terbuka Malaysia Maybank kepada pemenang, pemain remaja dari Korea Selatan berusia 18 tahun, Noh Seung-yul.- BERNAMA

Walaupun aku bukanlah seorang kaki bola sepak, tetapi aku amat menyukai menonton perlawanan bola sepak di peringkat akhir. Pada hari ini, penantian selama 20 tahun oleh rakyat Malaysia telah pun tamat. Kali terakhir Malaysia memenangi pingat emas dalam acara bola sepak Sukan SEA adalah pada tahun 1985 di Kuala Lumpur.
Tetapi malam ini, Malaysia telah pun berjaya mengulangi saat kegemilangan dengan memenangi pingat emas dengan mengalahkan pasukan Vietnam, 1 – 0, di Sukan SEA yang diadakan di Laos.
Sedikit ulasan daripada aku.
Dalam perlawan tersebut, dapat dilihat pasukan Malaysia banyak mengatur serangan ke arah gawang gol pihak lawan sehinggakan penjaga gol pasukan Vietnam mengalami kecederaan. Ini memberikan pasukan Malaysia kelebihan kerana penjaga gol Vietnam tidak mahu keluar padang walaupun sudah mengalami kecederaan di bahu kiri beliau.
Di samping itu, dapat diperhatikan bagaimana pasukan Malaysia sedikit kucar-kacir apabila bola berada di kaki mereka. Mereka seperti tidak tahu hendak buat apa dan akhirnya banyak peluang dilepaskan begitu sahaja.
Walau bagaimanapun, aku sangat puji dengan benteng pertahanan Malaysia kerana berjaya menepis dan menghalang asakan dari pihak lawan walaupun kadang-kala ada sedikit terlepas sana-sini.
Walaupun gol yang kita perolehi adalah gol nasib disebabkan gol jaringan sendiri oleh pemain Vietnam, Mai Xuan Hop pada minit ke-84, tetapi sedikit sebanyak kemenangan yang kita perolehi sangat-sangat bermakna.
Aku ingin mengambil kesempatan ini untuk mengucapkan tahniah dan syabas kepada pasukan bola sepak Malaysia kerana berjaya memenangi pingat emas dengan mengalahkan pasukan Vietnam, 1 – 0. Tahniah Malaysia!
Minggu ke 7 EPL semakin menarik apabila peneraju liga sudah bertukar selepas kekalahan pertama Chelsea kepada Wigan 3-1 sekaligus meletakkan MU sebagai di tangga pertama selepas menang 2-0 ke atas Stoke City,
Liverpool terus dengan kemenangan besar 6-1 menang keatas Hull City .. Tak sia-sia mnyokong Liverpool ..

San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman was arrested last night after allegedly roughing up his girlfriend, noted internet person Tila Tequlia. Way to start the season strong, buddy.
Merriman, who missed all but one game last season with knee problems, was arrested in front of his own home about 3:45 a.m. this morning after Tequila (sigh) accused him of choking her and restraining her when she tried to leave the house. She went to the hospital, he went to jail. Both have apparently been released.
The possibly roid-raged linebacker recently expressed admiration for Oregon’s LeGarrette Blount and his sucker punching ways, stating “I want to punch a bunch of guys but i would never risk getting suspended and fined i love my $.” Apparently, Merriman has not read the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, because the strictures against guy punching also include women. If you think drunk driving, shooting yourself in the leg, and dog murder are frowned upon, I’m sure Roger Goodell has been itching to take a very strong stand against domestic violence. Maybe Shawne is trying to see just how many games he can miss and still make the Pro Bowl.
Because Tequila and Merriman are both lunatics who are obsessed with Twitter, you can probably find more updates there in the near future.
